the definition of a new masculinity is the dominant feature of the design.

strictness in the basic structure and sensuality in the detail dominate the room. massive, angular wooden racks in warm ocean nut form a revolving wooden skin, embracing the open room as a frame and arraying the entire wall structure. the familiar and warm living room atmosphere thereby created has a nostalgic and at the same time contemporary effect. perforated countless times with velvet-upholstered presentation niches, the wooden skin loses its strict character and gets a soft, boudouresque character.

this principle is continued in large yet fragile, free-standing polished premium steel vitrines whose rear walls are coated with quilted velvet, or in the design of the flooring and the shop windows, where the smooth, hard stone surface is interrupted by soft, large-format carpet or velvet fields.

inserted decadent chinese motifs, which are at times very placative (one of a kind carpet) and can at times only be recognised as outlandish interpretations and associations, bestow on the entire composition a theatrical tension.

extravagant colour combinations of indivudual, small-format seating furniture elements along with some room elements contradict the reduced, mature approach to colour in the basic design and generate exciting contrasts.

the consequential “made to measure” design, the targeted selection of materials and shapes, as well as the precise and premium-quality workmanship create a modern, dramatic interpretation of the world of timeless luxury.
